📝 How to Use SmartList to Create Customized Views in Zendesk

Are you tired of sifting through endless leads to find the ones that matter most? Look no further than SmartList in Zendesk. With this powerful tool, you can create customized views that show only the leads that are most important to you. In this article, we'll walk you through the steps to create a customized view for your newest, hottest leads.

📋 Creating a SmartList

To get started, navigate to the leads view in Zendesk and select the icon in the top left to open a new SmartList. You'll be presented with a list showing the lead name, company name, and who owns each lead. But we want to see more, so let's add some of our own data fields.

Click on the plus field icon in the top right of the screen to add fields. First, let's add the "added on" field and filter it to show only leads added this quarter. Then, let's add the "city" field to personalize our conversations. We can even sort the view by city to see all the leads in a particular location.

If we want to call these individuals, we can add the "phone" field, which is click-to-dial. And if we want to see how long it's been since we've last communicated with someone, we can add the "days since last communication" field.

🔥 Creating a Hot Leads View

Once we've customized our SmartList to our liking, we can save it as a template to work from. Edit the name to specify that it's a hot leads view and hit return to save the SmartList. Now, we can turn to this view at any time and work from it.

If we want to see additional information, we can add the "communication fields" to see how long it's been since we've last communicated with someone. This is a crucial field to add, as it syncs with our inbox and shows us who we've talked to and how long it's been.
