What is a Virtual Bundle?

A virtual bundle is when you have two to five different ASINs that are independently listed, and you can virtually bundle them together. When a customer orders your bundle, they can order two or three units all at one time. This is a great way to incentivize customers to purchase more from your brand and more products from your store.

Requirements for Creating a Virtual Bundle

The main requirement for creating a virtual bundle is that you have a brand registered with Amazon Brand Registry. It has to be approved in order to do this, and those are the only products that you can bundle together that have the same brand name. The second major requirement is that you're using the FBA program. Otherwise, if you're doing FBM or MFN, then all you have to do is create your own bundle with a new listing.

Adding Products to Your Bundle

To add products to your bundle, go to the upper left-hand corner to the menu, go down to Brands, and then select virtual bundles. Select "Add Products" and choose the two to five components that you want to add into that virtual bundle. The first one you add is going to be where the virtual bundle is advertised on, so choose the product that people buy more often. Then, add any other type of product that is more of an accessory to that main item later on.

Quantity and Main Component

There are three important items to look at in this section. The first is the quantity available, which is the maximum number of bundles you can sell. The second is the quantity in bundle, which is the number of units in each bundle. The last thing to note in this section is the main component. Remember that the first one is going to be the main component, but you can always switch it by selecting "Set Main Component."

Images for Your Bundle

Your main bundle image is going to be the primary image that will represent the entire bundle. It's useful to actually put both of those products into this bundle so the customer can see that they'll receive both of these products. For the main image, create your own image that includes all the units in one. You can add additional images if you have the time to create unique images for this bundle set.

Creating Your Bundle Listing

To create your bundle listing, go to the "Bundle Title" section and take the first top keywords of both products and add "bundle" at the end. For the shorter title, put the main product name and the accessory name together. For the bundle price, take at least five percent off the top of the combined price for both of these packaged units together. This incentivizes the customer to make that purchase and ultimately get a better discount.

Advertising Your Bundle on Your Listing

Your virtual bundle is advertised on your listing as the main component. If a customer is looking at your page and scrolling down, they're going to see the "Make it a Bundle" section before they even see your product description or any other competitor ASINs. They can select it and read more about your bundle.
