Introduction

Welcome back to my channel! In today's video, I want to talk about some really awesome Bible verses that can help you in your personal life, whether it's work, school, business, or your fitness journey. These verses will drastically change how you think about yourself and how you pursue your goals throughout your life. I see a lot of people nowadays who don't have a sense of direction or lose that direction and don't seem to know what the next step is. This video is mainly for all men out there and also for women as well because these verses will truly teach you how to be in control of yourself.

The Importance of Self-Discipline

Self-discipline is one of the most important qualities that you can possess in life. It is the ability to control your thoughts, emotions, and actions in order to achieve your goals. The Bible has a lot to say about self-discipline and how it can help you in your life.

The Power of the Bible

The Bible is a powerful tool that can help you in all aspects of your life. It is a source of wisdom, guidance, and inspiration. The Bible can help you to become a better person, to achieve your goals, and to live a more fulfilling life.

The Bible and Self-Discipline

First Corinthians 9:24-27

"Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win. Everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. They then do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. Therefore I run in such a way, as not without aim; I box in such a way, as not beating the air; but I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified."

This verse is talking about self-discipline, not being a hypocrite, and having laser focus. It is trying to convey to us that we need to man up as a society. People nowadays are too weak mentally and physically, and it has become the new norm. The bar has become very low for what's acceptable and what isn't. Too many people nowadays are just indulging in their flesh, whether it's partying, having sex, or doing drugs. These things have become the normality of people, and it's one of the biggest reasons why men nowadays are extremely weak-minded.

The Importance of Laser Focus

This verse says to run in such a way that you may win. When we're talking about our dreams and goals, we are not thinking of a plan B of what if this doesn't work out. We go all in on what we believe in and what we are truly passionate about. It also reads that everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. When you see high-level athletes out there, they don't care about how strong the other team is or how much training the other team has done. They only care about their own training, self-control, and discipline because they already know what they're bringing to the table. The more they train, the more discipline they are, the more consistent they are, the more results that will be brought forth into their life.

The Benefits of Self-Control

If a bunch of these athletes just gave into their flesh all the time, saying, "Hey, I don't feel like working out today," or "I don't feel like doing all this cardio today," or "I don't feel like going to the gym today," they would not be where they're at. They would not be very successful. The same thing goes for entrepreneurs, a job that you're trying to reach, or a fitness goal that you may try to reach. You cannot go half in. You cannot be wishy-washy on whether or not you want to do it. People do not understand that you are in a constant battle with your flesh. You have your flesh and then your soul, which is constantly in conflict with your flesh because it wants what's best for you. It wants what God wants for you, but it's constantly having to battle your flesh in order to achieve that goal.

Making Your Body Your Slave

This verse also says that you have to make your body your slave. Just because your body tells you, "Oh, I don't want to get up in the morning," or "I don't want to go to the gym today," you have to use your mind and your spirit in order to be like, "Hey, I know this sucks. I know this is terrible right now, but we have to do it in order to reach our goals." Your body is never really in the now. It's always worried about what's going to happen next. You really have to push yourself forward and discipline yourself in order to see the results that you want. Once you understand that people just don't do the work, but they do it anyway because they know it's necessary, that can be enough to push you to the next level. Discipline and consistency are the two most important things in life, I believe, in order to get ahead.

The Bible and Success

The Importance of Clear-Cut Goals

This verse says, "Therefore, I run in such a way as not without aim." You have to have clear-cut goals. You have to know exactly what you want out of life, and you have to be willing to work towards that one increment at a time. You have to have a plan. If you don't have a plan on what you want to do, saying, "Oh, I want to reach a certain fitness goal," or "Hey, I want to make this certain amount of money by this time," you have to make incremental goals. Over time, with consistency and discipline, you will reach those goals and even surpass them because of what you do on a daily basis in a disciplined manner.

The Power of Incremental Progress

The Bible teaches us that success is not an overnight thing. It's not something that you can achieve in a day or a week or even a month. Success is something that you have to work towards every single day. It's about making incremental progress towards your goals. It's about being consistent and disciplined in your approach. The Bible teaches us that success is not about luck or chance. It's about hard work, dedication, and perseverance.

The Role of Consistency and Discipline

Consistency and discipline are the two most important things when it comes to achieving success. You have to be consistent in your approach. You have to be disciplined in your actions. You have to be willing to put in the work every single day, even when you don't feel like it. The Bible teaches us that success is not about talent or intelligence. It's about hard work and dedication. If you want to achieve success in your life, you have to be willing to put in the work.

The Bible and Society

The Importance of Masculinity

The Bible teaches us that masculinity is important. It's about being a leader, standing up for what you believe in, and being a role model for others. Masculinity is not about being aggressive or violent. It's about being strong, confident, and assertive. The Bible teaches us that men have a responsibility to lead their families, their communities, and their nations. Men have a responsibility to be strong, to be courageous, and to be willing to stand up for what is right.

The Dangers of Delusion

The Bible teaches us that delusion is dangerous. It's about being deceived by the world and its lies. Delusion is about believing in things that are not true. The Bible teaches us that the truth will set us free. We have to be willing to seek the truth and to live our lives according to the truth. The Bible teaches us that the world is full of lies and deception. We have to be careful not to be deceived by the world and its lies.

The Importance of Humility

The Bible teaches us that humility is important. It's about being humble and recognizing that we are not perfect. We have to be willing to admit our mistakes and to learn from them. The Bible teaches us that pride comes before a fall. We have to be careful not to be too proud or arrogant. We have to be willing to listen to others and to learn from them.
