Introduction

A few weeks ago, we made a video showing you how to put custom GPTs on websites, which got a huge response. However, there was a lot of custom code involved, which many of you struggled with. So, in this article, we'll show you a much shorter and simpler method that doesn't require any coding. By the end of this article, you'll know how to put your custom GPTs on websites in minutes.

What is Agentive?

The way we'll be creating these custom GPTs and rapidly deploying them to websites is with our new platform, Agentive. We created this platform to make creating, managing, and deploying agents dead simple for business owners looking to utilize a workforce of AI agents or for agency owners looking to create and sell agents to other businesses. In its current state, Agentive focuses on making the testing and deploying of your custom GPTs as easy as possible. You can sign up for Agentive in the description below. It is currently 100% free for all to use; however, we do have a 48 to 72 hour wait to get in as we slowly onboard new users, so please be patient with us.

Creating a Gold Investing Assistant

In this article, we'll be creating a gold investing assistant that has a custom knowledge base of gold investing guides and a real-time gold price tool. When we talk about assistants, we always talk about the three ingredients: prompting, knowledge, and actions. Prompting is going to be telling it that it's an AI assistant for helping with gold investing. Then we have some knowledge-based documents for gold investing, and then we have a tool that gets the real-time gold price for us.

Step 1: Head to Agentive Hub

The first step is to head to Agentive Hub. Here, you can either join the waitlist or sign in. Once you're logged in, you can go to the assistant creation page and hit the "Create Assistant" button to create a new assistant.

Step 2: Upload Knowledge Base Files

Next, we can upload files and add knowledge to our knowledge base. We'll upload documents on investing in gold, how to invest in gold, and another one. We'll give it a second to upload them all.

Step 3: Create a Tool

As mentioned, we want to add a live gold price tracker. To do this, we need some kind of API that we can call. We found a free gold price API called Metal Price API and signed up for a free key. We then generated an open API schema for this particular API that we can pass into Agentive in our tool section.

Step 4: Convert API to Open API Spec

We need to convert this API and its functionality into an open API spec that we can pass into Agentive in our tool section. We'll use Chat GPT to do this. We'll copy all the information from the Metal Price API dashboard and paste it into Chat GPT. We'll then ask Chat GPT to write us an open AI schema for this API, pass in the documentation on how to call it, and give it some examples of how it's going to respond. We'll then copy the schema and paste it into Agentive.

Step 5: Test Your Tools and Knowledge Base

Now that we've generated a schema that we can paste into Agentive, we can test our tools and knowledge base. We'll test if our tool is working by calling it and getting the latest metal price. We'll also test our knowledge base by asking it a question about the best way to budget.

Step 6: Deploy to Voiceflow

We're now ready to deploy to Voiceflow. We'll click on the "Deploy" button in Agentive, which has all the details we'll need. We'll then download the Voiceflow template and import it into Voiceflow. We'll replace our API key and assistant ID, make a couple of edits, and run a test.

Step 7: Embed the Widget on Your Website

Finally, we'll embed the widget on our website. We'll copy the script tag and paste it into our website code. We'll then boot up the website and see our golden V assistant in action.

Conclusion

In conclusion, we hope this article has shown you how easy it is to add custom GPTs to any website in minutes without coding. With Agentive, you can create, manage, and deploy agents with ease.
