Results of October 2023

Unfortunately, October 2023 was the worst month I've had since my first month in the program. I earned a total of $1,760.4, which is not good considering I have more videos on the platform than ever before. I was hoping that the start of Q4 would bring an increase in earnings, but that was not the case. The first eight or nine days of October saw clicks at a rock bottom of 200-225 per day, which led to a decrease in earnings.

The Volatility of Clicks

The number of clicks my videos were receiving was extremely volatile during October. At the end of September, my videos were getting a sharp decrease in clicks, which continued into October. However, during the 9th and 10th of October, Amazon had their Prime Day deals, which led to a sharp increase in clicks. Unfortunately, clicks dropped towards the end of the month, disappearing completely around the 27th-29th. It turns out that this was a glitch, and clicks started climbing back up again by the end of the month.

Making Videos for November and December

When I looked back at my earnings and what products were selling to comprise my earnings throughout the months of June, July, and August, I noticed that seasonal products seemed to be hot. As a result, the videos I'm making for November are entirely focused on holiday-themed things. I'm not going after gifts per se, but rather seasonal content that I have in or around my house. I'm hopeful that this will perform well during the holiday season.

The Importance of Seasonal Content

Seasonal content seems to be a significant factor in the success of the Amazon Influencers Program. During the summer, I noticed that products that were seasonal sold well. As we head into the holiday season, I'm hopeful that seasonal content will perform well once again. People are buying holiday decor as they get ready to dress up their house, and I'm hoping that my videos will help them make purchasing decisions.

Sales and Clicks During Q4

Q4 is the busiest season for most businesses, and it's the time of year when people like to spend money. I'm hopeful that sales and clicks will pick up during this time, but I'm also mindful of the fact that my earnings per click are not quite as high as I'd like them to be. I'm hoping that people are waiting to open their wallets to see the deals that come out during Black Friday and that they'll watch my videos to make purchasing decisions.

Conclusion

October 2023 was a challenging month for me in the Amazon Influencers Program, but I'm still hopeful that the Q4 sales season will bring an increase in earnings. I'm focusing on seasonal content for November and December, and I'm hoping that this will perform well. As always, I will be updating you on my progress in the program, so make sure to subscribe to my channel for more updates.
