Humble Beginnings
I didn't grow up poor, nor did I grow up rich. I was raised in a middle-class family, but I was exposed to a lot of experiences where I saw poverty and wealth. This balance of seeing both sides sparked my interest and hunger to want more in life. I knew from a young age that I wanted to be successful and have some money, but I didn't know how I would ever get there.
First Experiences in Business
Before finding success with Amazon FBA, I tried to start a vending machine company. I left college and transferred back home to have more time to start this business. My dad used to have a business where he would put vending machines in schools, and some of these machines were still in storage. My plan was to go get those machines, fix them up, and then put them in locations like car dealerships, airports, and hospitals. This business failed because I did not want to invest in it. I had everything correct, but I did not want to invest the money to build my website and advertise it.
After this failure, I started selling random stuff like soccer balls, bath rugs, and electronics on eBay and Facebook Marketplace. I was making a few thousand dollars a month, but I was spending it all on partying and going out with friends. Eventually, my eBay account got shut down, and I thought my life was over. That's when my mother told me to list my products on Amazon.
Finding Success with Amazon FBA
I listed a few products on Amazon, and they all sold out quickly. I realized that this was the business model I wanted to pursue. I started doing product research and found a few winning products. I was able to make a few thousand dollars in my first month selling on Amazon. I continued to hunt for winning products and found a few more, like the Thrustmaster and Cronis Zen. I was able to make tens of thousands of dollars in profit selling these products.
Transitioning to Wholesale
After a few months of selling on Amazon, I realized that I wanted to turn this into a real business. I started doing wholesale and was quite successful off the beginning. I found my first supplier using Smart Scout and was able to take my game to the next level quickly. I was doing $80,000 in revenue after a few months and scaled up to $200,000 in revenue.
Scaling Up and Moving to Miami
I continued to grind and fill up my living room and garage with inventory. I eventually got my own warehouse and gained access to new distributors. I was able to take my game to the next level and was making over $1,000 in profit every day during pool season. I was able to get my dream car, a C63s AMG Coupe, and continued to level up.
The Importance of Progress
The progress is my favorite thing about this journey. Looking back at the old pictures and reminiscing on the times before, it's all work in progress. I just started on YouTube, and I'm going to grow a lot on here. I'm loving the progress, and right now, I just touched a million dollars not too long ago. But there will be a time where I'm at $10 million, and I'll look back at now and reminisce and laugh about it.
