I installed this part on my 2008 Chevy Avalanche. As a few others have written, my installation was not quite perfect, but it wasn't that difficult, either. I had to insert the new rubber grommet into the existing rubber grommet, as the new one was of a smaller diameter, and would not have provided a good seal. To keep the two grommets together, I used super glue to bond the two together. Had I not, the inner grommet would have kept sliding out of the larger one. Once that was completed, the remaining installation was as described by several others.
