I’m a music producer and I wanted a microphone upgrade, (previous mic was a in-body from a 8-track recorder). Out of the box is sorta annoying, it comes with NO instructions what so ever, kinda a we’ll figure it out yourself. It’s pretty simple though, once I got it set up I plugged it into my recorder, (you will need to buy another cable with male and female XLR for recorders), turned on phantom power and tested it with a little piano scale. It is incredible sound quality for fairly cheap mic! It is clear, well defined and effective. This is a incredible microphone and would highly recommend!
