Years ago, I took Valerian Root that made me drowsy but I don't remember the brand. I do know it wasn't this brand.
My specific experience with this product is when I take two at night it helps me get drowsy and sleep very quickly and I sleep through the night… but when I wake up in the morning I don’t have that hangover feeling that melatonin gives me. I love and recommend this product. I think it has probably helped me a bit with my daytime anxiety but I use it more for a sleep aid.
