The best ramp on Amazon. The transition from floor/stairs to ramp is good because the ends of the ramp are beveled. This makes the chance of the ramp moving when entering it much less. If you have a wheelchair which locks into a vehicle with a device such as an EZ Lock, this ramp really shines. This is because the hinges are on the bottom of the ramp, unlike the other most popular ramp. This keeps them out of the way of the locking attachment on the bottom of the wheelchair, which can hang up on the hinges when they are on the top side, creating a potentially dangerous situation. Even though I have found this ramp to be very stable, if it stays in one location I would recommend permanently attaching it to whatever surface it is resting on. Finally, if you need a ramp for a motorized wheelchair, make sure the one you buy has sufficient load bearing capacity - motorized chairs are often very heavy.
