That was a failure of the tape tabs not the foam tiles. These are a good value & you get 12. They Look nice as well

First, don't expect a miracle from something in this price range. Having said that, these little foam tiles are easy to stick to the wall. The paper backing came off for me no problem. They absolutely helped reduce some of the echo in my home office. They won't make it sound-proof, but we're beneficial in my use case.
