Thorough review of this product: My husband and I assembled this today. It could have been done with one person but quicker and easier with two. It took about two hours; we did take our time to make sure we did it all correctly. The instructions could be a tad better (however, my husband insisted on being in control of that aspect, so that might have been the real reason haha, no star removed for it though). We ended up putting a few pieces on the wrong way but luckily found it before moving forward. We are using this for the fireplace and little storage versus a true TV stand but it serves the purpose. The timer to shut the heat off is a nice feature. Our other fake fireplace doesn’t have that feature. I do wish it was a cool touch fireplace (where the heat comes out) since I have young kids. Other fireplaces like this have that feature. However, the temperature feature is nice (being able to choose the temperature of the heat coming out). It comes with a remote AND BATTERIES! It also has a touchscreen on the fireplace for controls. I’m happy about this as remotes go missing in my house very often. The shelves inside the cabinets can be placed in 3 different heights which is nice. I have one set in the middle and in the other cabinet, it is set at the top one. We had no issues with any of the pieces of this. It was packaged well so nothing arrived damaged. We used a simple screwdriver to assemble. No other tool needed. Organization of the screws and what not was good too. The cord is a nice length too. I was concerned since where we wanted it doesn’t have an outlet close (and none down low), but the cord was just long enough to reach where I needed it to. I removed one star for a few reasons. Some of the predrilled holes weren’t drilled at all (for us, it was for part N, the flimsy piece that covered the back of the cabinet) or it was a simple dot rather than a real hole. The handle on the right cabinet is slightly tilted (not due to my assembly, I checked). Is it a big deal? No. But for someone with slight OCD personality, it drives me nuts. In reference to the review about the color being off, you received the rustic one. That’s what it looks like. Computer screens can make the color seem different than in person. Also, those gray pieces were scraps used to reinforce the box for shipping. I appreciated that attention to detail for shipping purposes. Overall, we are happy with this purchase. It was a little more than what I planned to pay for. You can buy the larger version of this for cheaper at a competitors store, so that’s a little upsetting too.
It is a beautiful addition for our house. Good price. It was a little difficult to put together because the instruction are all pictures. One piece was not correct but the company sent us a new one quickly. Luckily it did not stop us from assembling the base unit. We had to wait to install the fire place. My wife put most of it together by herself, mostly.

Against my better judgment I decided to get the product. It’s a beautiful color, but very cheaply made. I opened the box and noticed some of the wood was chipped and peeling away but decided to give it a shot. Everythubg was going smoothly up until I got to step 9 (I think) I noticed the wood was chipped bad. The wood pieces DID NOT LINE UP. I couldn’t finish assembly for the product. I’m very disappointed. I am going to be returning the item.

I don’t know if I misread the description? Or what! We purchased this item to help keep the heater turned down in our small lake house. But the heater does not distribute heat like we assumed! The only thing it did turn up, was our electric bill! Yes, it looks great. But does not heat our small living room up! So for the price I paid for the product, plus how much it burns electricity… Highly NOT recommended! There are so many better, and cheaper products out there!

I received this product and have been using it alot over the last month. There a few things I wanna list out 1. The fiberglass seal on the frount door started peeling only after 1 burn 2. The air holes are too small so unless you can drill them out to make them bigger its more worth the time. 3. The tapped screws for the door are off center and causes it to shut unevenly. 4. The lack of heating control regularly put my camping spot at 98 degrees. 5. Does not include shover or tool to put it together. There are good things . The quality of the other parts non drilled. Are high. It holds heat well It keeps a fire going if packed right for between 8 to 12 hours.. its nice but not quite what I expected. Thank you for your time
