While this stethoscope is light, that means it also feels very cheap. Meaning it is so light, it doesn't conform to your neck at all if you place it around your neck to hang. The sound quality it fair, not a cardiology tool to be sure but you can hear basic breath, heart and abdominal sounds adequately for most nursing purposes.

Just received a Littman CORE digital stethascope. I am a hospice nurse any many of my patient's heart and lung sounds can be hard to auscultate. I bought this stethascope to enhance my nursing assessments. So far, I am very happy with it. Four stars for two reasons: I just received it and haven't had it long enough to give 5 stars, and I never give 5 stars.

My daughter wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up and was ecstatic that she could hear her own heart.
