The poles are connected via a string. One of the poles string did not hold and all the sections came apart. One try to restring failed and I decided it would take more time to futz with this then to figure out a different way to do my spray painting. I was able to put tent back in bag and return for full refund.
Hopefully this will be just what my daughter in law needs to keep overspray off everything else. She is excited to try it when it warms up.
