This fit as a direct replacement for the original tub on our 2005 Gulf Stream Cavalier. The plastic does seem to be thinner than original, as some reviewers noted. However, it does hold water when filled to the brim, which is all that is required of the walls of the tub, barring accidents or abuse. The overall human-bearing capacity of the bottom of the tub actually depends on a platform beneath it. I chose to reinforce the platform beneath our tub with a few scraps of 2x4, which went a long way to making the tub feel stronger and more comfortable, as well as ensuring nice, even drainage. As far as how it handles more pointed pressure, I weigh 190 pounds, and if I stand on the balls or heels or my feet, I can just start to feel the squishiness of the styrofoam layer on the other side of the plastic. I don't anticipate any problems from this, but if you weigh significantly more than I do, you may want to opt for a pricier tub, or possibly try removing the styrofoam and adding a layer of some strong material to stiffen it up (at your own risk, don't try this at home, always hire a professional, don't breathe before consulting your doctor blah blah blah). Overall, good looking tub with perfectly acceptable build quality, especially for the price.

The project came out great even though the tub is made with a pretty thin material. The bottom is well reinforced and will serve in the installation very satisfactory. It replaced a leaking fiberglass tub that was not installed properly. I told the renter to be careful, and to not drop any anvils in the tub.
I had to order two because the first came in crushed beyond usage . The second came in with the box damaged and a bad fold in the bottom radius of the tub . I managed to get the fold popped out and I think it will be alright to use . Hard to tell until you have them filled with water . It’s cute though so of it has no through cracks I’ll be happy .
