I bought this right-angle adapter so that I could install a GMRS radio in an area with short clearance. I could have just connected my GMRS antenna directly to the back of the radio body, but then the antenna cable would have to be forced to bend 90-degrees just behind where the antenna plug is. With this 90-degree adapter I did not have to bend the antenna cable at all, so that meant less chance of cable damage!

 After 2-3 weeks and never do some jobs with this it’s broken…Battery have very short life time 3-5 minutes,
First of all, I have been setting up Satellite Dishes since 1984 - big dishes and smaller ones once they took over the market. I have installed at least 200 or so small dishes. The only reason I bought this meter is due to my Birddog Ultra battery went bad. There are none to find for a replacement. If you know of any please let me know. So I bought 2 cheaper meters/finders including this in line one. Figured one would work. But nope!!! Neither one would give me signal variations during my install. Chinese junk!!! I ended up using a $4.00 inline meter I received in a kit about 15 years ago. It is a junk meter as well but it works enough to give you indications. The Satellite Industry is getting bad. Tech support is bad. Companies are still selling Birddog Ultra's without a way to replace batteries at a inflated price. Can not get good customer support! How are you suppose to call for help with no reception? Bunch of crap and they selling crap instruments.
