I purchased the eRapta waterproof backup camera w/ 7-inch monitor and installed it on a restaurant delivery vehicle so that I could see what was behind me at all times (not just in reverse, but also while driving forward since my delivery vehicle had only outside mirrors). It worked very well, but developed a problem with moisture inside the camera after approx 9 months. However, the eRapta customer support team contacted me and offered to replace my camera and make it right. I'm very impressed with this kind of customer support and will update my review once I have installed the new camera.

I replaced an old CRT backup camera in my motor home with the eRapta unit. Installation was easy even though I had to change the old cable connectors to match the eRapta connectors. The system works flawlessly, the color is great (my old unit was black and white). I have een using he eRapta unit for 8 months.
well opened package . nice box it came in. but the cheaply made moniter and very cheap mount were just the start. camera is not in color. black and white. very cheaply made setup. says for truck or rv im guessing they meant pickup truck. update. well customer service is pretty good from erapta. they have offered to send me a better camera. we will see.

Had wireless camera system before purchasing this wired setup, as wireless system just didn't give us the picture clarity or performance we expected. The distance from rear of previous Travel trailer to dash of truck was right at 45ft, and more than likely was at wireless system's maximum signal. We since have purchased a new and longer Travel trailer and upgraded to longer wheelbase dually pickup, so we bought this wired setup and 100% satisfied with picture clarity and performance ( 54ft ). Setup came with 67ft cable and was plenty long enough but cable was bad from the get go. Contacted eRapta (Selina/customer service rep) via email and got immediate replacement cable from China in less than 10 days! Could of gotten 50ft cable from Amazon via Prime 2day but needed longer cable for obvious reason ( 54ft ). Customer service was outstanding!! Totally satisfied with whole process.

Before buying the eRapta ER01 I had purchased a wireless backup camera and monitor for my Fun Runner Toy Hauler, which I was very unsatisfied with and subsequently returned then upon purchasing the ero One waterproof backup camera I tested it with a battery and the video feed on the monitor is extremely good installation is very straightforward and I had some questions for customer service and they responded via email almost immediately and we're very helpful. I'm extremely satisfied and proud of my new purchase!!!!!!!!! Customer support and service is great! Modified installation to also provide security inside toy hauler on August 23 months after initial purchase and customer service was there providing all the help I asked for! Thanks Selena!
Update: after several email exchanges, eRapta sent a new camera, which I just installed. Much difference! Image is not distorted at all from what I can tell right now. Haven't tried backing with it, or in the dark. If you don't hear anything else from me, consider it working. I am giving this unit 3stars for quality (I mean "color," seriously? Looks like infrared. I'm giving customer service an extra star, four total. I have installed the unit successfully, it's pretty straightforward, even without detailed instructions. (Note, the use of a fiber optic endoscope really made this easier. However, there is a problem with the camera: the lens or sensor must be out of alignment. I have previously asked a question about this problem, and eRapta responded that they would take care of it, gave me their email address. I promptly sent the photos you see below, with a description of the problem, order number, and other information that they requested. I have yet to hear back from them. To center the guides, I had to turn the camera at an oblique angle, which caused even more distortion in the image on screen. As for the overall quality, not bad for the money, but I will update this review after I get a new camera installed.

Easy straight forward install, Seem to be very good quality but time will tell if last through my winters. Installed in a 07 longbed quad cab 1 ton dodge dually and had more the enough cable. Connectors dont seem weather tight and can see a corrosion problem if you dont add a little di electric grease to the connection at the camera. Picture quality is decent but not the vivid colors one might expect but i can clearly see my hitch and trailer so thats all i cared about. All in all not a regrettable purchase.
