The size on the tag actually says "3-6 months," which is fine for our little one, but you might want to order up a size so it's not too small. I love the shirt - it wicks away sweat & water, dries very fast & protects her skin from the sun ... My only complaint, however, is that the little decal on the front (sand dollar) began to peel off after the first use.
