Sales, a key metric of costs and profits for any business, is the most intuitive and accessible data. With established social media platforms and advertising channels providing detailed insight in regards to website traffic, understanding consumer sentiment--i.e., volume--is one of the more challenging areas to analyze. Volume refers how people express their opinions on our brand's products/services/marketing efforts via various touchpoints; these voices come together as an aggregate that can tell us what consumers need or expect from us – why consumers make purchases with us over others.

Based on the data provided, it seems that the product in question has a relatively high customer satisfaction rating. With an average rating of 4.4 out of 5 and a total of 124 reviews, it appears that many customers are happy with their purchase. However, it's important to note that the category of the product is "Points," which doesn't provide much context about what the product actually is. Without more information about the product itself, it's difficult to give specific advice. That being said, if you're a seller of this product, it's important to continue to monitor customer feedback and address any issues or concerns that arise. Additionally, it may be helpful to encourage satisfied customers to leave reviews, as this can help boost the product's visibility and credibility on Amazon.

Target your customers through customer profile

Voice of customer analysis and audience research are key elements when targeting customers through customer profile. By leveraging Amazon review analysis and other data sources, sellers can gain insights into their customers preferences and behaviors, which can be used to craft targeted solutions and develop a successful product profile. Additionally, this data can also be used to create more effective campaigns that attract the right customers and boost sales.

However, the presence of the "undefined" category indicates that there may be other user groups that need to be identified or further explored. Secondly, the top three places where the product is used are the "car" with 3 mentions, followed by "bike" with 2 mentions, and the "backyard" with 1 mention. This implies that the product is primarily used in transportation settings, such as cars and bikes, indicating its potential relevance for on-the-go activities. The mention of the "backyard" suggests that it may also have applications in outdoor settings. Lastly, the top two usages of the product mentioned are "checking on my Harley" and "cleaning spark plugs," each with 1 mention. This indicates that the product may have a specific purpose related to motorcycle maintenance, particularly for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. The mention of spark plug cleaning suggests that it may have broader applications in engine maintenance or general mechanical tasks. Based on these findings, it is recommended to target the customer profile of adult fathers who are interested in transportation, particularly motorcycles, and may have a need for maintenance-related products. Marketing efforts could focus on highlighting the product's convenience for on-the-go use, its relevance to motorcycle enthusiasts, and its versatility for various mechanical tasks. Additionally, further research should be conducted to understand the needs and preferences of the "undefined" user group to better tailor the product and marketing strategies.

Ship products your customers love through sentiment analysis

Through sentiment analysis, businesses can uncover consumer dissatisfaction with products, automatically decompose NR and PR, and present product quality issues, packaging suggestions, marketing loopholes, and inadequate service in a digitalized format. By finding problems in VOC and combining them with a set of quality problem solving processes (CTQs), businesses can form a closed loop from problem to action, thereby achieving continuous iteration and optimization of product quality. In addition, analyzing customer emotion data can help companies foresee emerging trends ahead of competitors and tailor their products to meet customers' needs.

Update: After some experimenting and modification, I was able to make these points work, in that I was able to get them adjusted "to spec", with the proper points gap (0.012"). I also added a very small washer under the keeper on the center post, which helped to get the pads into better alignment with each other. What I ultimately had to do to make them able to gap properly was to sand/file the points cam follower (the part that rubs directly on the points cam) by 1/16" or so - it was considerably longer than the original set of points, and so I used a flat surface and some 200 grit sandpaper to take off enough length until it approximately matched the original. After that, I was able to properly gap this set of points, and the bike started and ran just fine afterwards. All in all, this set of points cost me quite a bit of time and effort to make them suitable for use...way more time than they were worth, for certain, but perseverance won the day. Original post: I recommend that you save your cash and seek higher quality points. I tried hard to make these do what they are supposed to do - maybe I just got a "lemon" part...I don't know, but I definitely could not get them gapped to spec no matter what I tried, and so I could not get my '70 K2 CT90 timed properly and running smoothly using these points. These are pretty close to identical in appearance to the OEM points that had been on my bike for probably the entirety of its 52 years of service...but, as my dad used to enjoy saying, "close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades." The upper point bracket of the part that I received appeared to be bent at a slightly-greater-than 90 degree angle, which resulted in the point pads not meeting flush on the flats of each point pad, but on an edge. The point pads were also slightly offset to each other - so, the bottom pad was slightly out of alignment with the top. Additionally, the center part (I'll call it the points-rocker: the milled resin-colored piece) was mounted loosely on its shaft with a keeper holding it on the shaft, and did not have a washer to help keep the point pads in alignment. On installation, there was simply no way to get the gap set to less that 0.016" and so, while the bike would start and run (somewhat roughly), the ignition was fully advanced at idle and all speeds, and the engine would stumble at higher RPM. This was observed with a brand-new and properly functioning spark advancer assembly in place on a bike that had been running very well overall. Prior to installing these points, the bike was running well using the old points, and had been dynamically timed "dead on" the F mark at 1300 RPM and fully advanced at 3500 RPM. The root cause, as it appears to me, is that the assembly is ever so slightly "off" from its OEM cousin. I considered and rejected drilling out the outside base-anchor hole (on the cylinder side of the assembly), to try to make it possible to gap the points more accurately. I decided to simply buy a higher-quality part elsewhere and chalk this up to a fairly inexpensive, but ultimately time- and money-wasting experiment. So, I put the old original points back in place, to wait for the (next) replacement points to arrive, and I was able to gap them to 0.012" and set the timing back to spec very easily. To be completely fair, I did not attempt to get a refund, as I had to do quite a lot of fiddling around to try to get them properly set. The seller that I purchased from IS a reputable seller that I have used (and will continue to use) - the issues that I experienced have nothing to do with the seller, but rather with the quality of the part itself.
They took quite a bit of filing on the contact surface to get the correct gap. The left one was close but the right one would not open at all.
