This peeler is amazing. I went through two peelers before purchasing this, and this one absoutely blows everything out of the water. It cuts through potatoes, carrot, and even iron stick yams (tough skin suckers) like hot knife on butter. It even works well on soft skin things like peaches. Pretty sure I purchased this years ago, the blade is still sharp and works just as new. Every time I use it, I'm awed by how well this peeler performs.

What didn’t I love about this peeler, it’s sharp, easy to use and peels exceptionally well. It’s very sturdy, the only thing I can say in the negative is not having a metal eye remover. Remember to remove the protective tape from the blades, but watch your fingers, this puppy is sharp. I have an old peeler I would not give up because all the others I tried couldn’t cut the mustard, it’s at least 30 to 40 years old. After receiving this one I retired my old tired and true peeler.
