This product is a great addition to one's diet even if you're not a vegan. It contains B vitamins as well as other nutrients, and I sprinkle it on popcorn that I've cooked on the stove with coconut oil. I top it with a little himalayan sea salt and the popcorn tastes buttery and cheesy. I also like to stir in a couple tablespoons of the flakes into soup, which gives it a rich, nutty, cheesy flavor.
