I think the Motive bleeder is excellent. The custom adapters just make it easier to use. I have used the universal adapter on a bunch of different vehicles and it works fine, but I feel like I could easily overtighten it and crack the modern plastic master cylinder reservoirs. The custome ones work great making things easy and low stress.

Got a set from working on various vehicles, works like all the other. Love this entire system.
I have bled my own brakes since I was a young child helping my father with his cars. We have always had classic cars and I still do which means you either do your own work or pay someone a lot to have them do the work. While manually bleeding the brakes do get the job done, it takes at least 2 people to do it and usually run the brake reservoir dry a time or two and have to start all over. I have tried all the tricks like building my own out of a bug sprayer and a slew of others you can by at Harbor Freight and other automotive stores. I have to say this is the best thing on the market! The Motive Brake Pressure Bleeder works by filling the canister up with brake fluid and adding air pressure. When attach it to the brake reservoir then release one of the bleeder screws at the wheel, the fluid is forced through the lines eliminating any air that might exist. The great thing about this is it only takes one person and can be setup in minutes. The other nice thing is that since the canister has a lot of fluid in it feeding the brake reservoir you don't have to worry about checking the brake reservoir to see if it's empty. Pros: 1. Relatively inexpensive. 2. Adapters available for almost every car. 3. Less messy 4. Only need one person. 5. Continuous feed of brake fluid. Cons: 1. I really can't think of any as this is the best solution I've tried.

What a life saver. I'm from the old school where we would have someone sit in the car and pump/hold the brakes when doing a bleed. I bought this adapter to use my Motive bleeder on my '00 Chevy Silverado and it works brilliantly. Not only does it make this a one man job, but it really speeds it up.

If I could give all Motive products a 1 star I would. They sell their add-on's with little to no description as to what make, brand or model of car they go to. You actually have to call the company and even then, they aren't sure if their products will work for a particular brand or not.

Worked great on my 2000 Silverado. Only 1 minor problem and 1 moderate. First have to use thicker seal, but it is hard to turn. I just dipped my finger in fluid and wet the seal, twisted just fine. Second that extra tube for the bleeder port is stupidly short, only few inches long. This tubing is cheap so go buy a piece before you start bleeding.
