I don’t wear a ton of make up but I like to use makeup remover pads to catch any leftover liner under my eyes after I wash my face. I had to rub entirely too hard to remove the traces left over. (I don’t use waterproof liner or any mascara.) They are too gentle for me. I’ll stick to the normal neutrogena removers. They work well.

In order to test this product, I used it as directed, and then followed up with a make up wipe. Since this product claims to remove make up, I was expecting to see an almost clean wipe. What actually happened is that all of my make up came off on the wipe. I think this product perhaps slightly lifted some of the make up. That’s the best I can say
Overall I like Neutrogena and currently use several of their products. I like that the Micellar Milk comes in a pump bottle and that it wasn't drying to my skin. My foundation is a 24hr wear foundation [Estee Lauder Double Wear] that's a challenge to remove. Olay water-activated cleansing cloths have been my go-to cleanser for this foundation for years. Deciding to test this Neutrogena cleanser, I used it first, rinsed my face, and used an Olay cloth to see if any foundation remained. The Neutrogena only removed about 90%, as there were traces of foundation on the Olay cloth. It's a decent cleanser with a pleasant fragrance that, I think, will remove CC, BB creams, and lighter-weight foundations that aren't long-wearing. It just doesn't remove 100% of long-wearing foundations.

It's very light, doesn't leave sticky feeling or any residue. I read that it cannot be used as a toner, so make sure you use with toner after using this product
