These are very, very poor quality - the metal enclosure on many of them cannot be untwisted because it was tightened so much that it's stripped the metal, and some of the wooden hoop parts are misshapen. Out of an order of 12 hoops, only FIVE (5!!!!) are even usable / able to be opened. Ridiculous.

These are more of a decorative frame than actual embroidery hoop. They’re way more difficult to tighten than the brand I’m used to using, which makes it hard to get the fabric taut. The hoops are very stiff, and the wood on one of them snapped after I put the fabric in. They’re still a pretty good value since the brand I like went up in price, so I’m just using one of my old hoops to work in, then transferring the completed project to one of these to be hung. Mine did not have any sort of sticker or film that needed to be removed.

They are great value for the money - they are sturdy enough obviously for the price keep your expectations fair. I would Definetly buy these again I use them for 6 inch cocktail napkin. True to size.
