Instructions aren't the easiest to follow and the screws included are EXTREMELY easy to strip! So when they say use a screw driver to screw them in, they aren't kidding! I thought for sure my drill would do the trick and I could save some time but it didn't matter what I did, the screw heads would basically melt. So with my screw driver and a ton of elbow grease I got those stupid screws in! But some didn't go in all the way and some still stripped a tiny bit. I also keep getting confused by the color of the locking mechanism 🔐 . It's green for locked and red for open. It confuses my mommy brain because I would assume green means open (or go!) And red means closed! Ugh whatever! The price I pay for a really cute gate.

This is the best idea to keep a puppy blocked in the area where you want them. It’s easy to install, and easy to use. The best part is 2 sets of brackets so we can move the gate from one are to another as we need to change where she can go.
 This baby gate is useless at best. At the very slightest touch the gate comes loose at the bottom. Pull it a tiny bit more and it's loose at the top and flies open. My 1 year old opened it within the first 5 seconds of approaching the secured gate. You can flip the latch points, but then all they have to do is slightly push instead of pull. It's actually even easier to open that way.

 This was exactly what we were looking for so that we don’t have to worry about a swinging gate since our front door is so close to the base of our steps. We have a 7 month old puppy and a baby on the way, so wanted to place some gates for safety and containment. The gate is well made and fairly easy to install. The templates are very helpful but ours was slightly off by about 1/8th of an inch on the larger retractable side. We just had to shimmy one of the plastic mounts up a bit so the base portion would “click” in and lock in place. The other side would the hooks was super easy to install. Love the lock feature. Seems to work well. Funny though, be aware that the lock mode is marked in green and unlock mode is marked in red. Seems a little backwards but still serves its purpose.

We have an awkward staircase in our split level home and we could not find a regular baby gate that would fit. I saw this online and decided to give it a try. It took several minutes to install, but once we got it up it is sturdy and secure. There is a slight gap at the bottom, but that is because we have such an awkward space. As long as we keep it in the locked position the gap has not been problem. It took a times to get used to locking and unlocking. At first I couldn't do it with one hand. However, I quickly got used to it and I have no problem with locking and unlocking with one hand. I would recommend it for anyone that has an awkward or large space to block.
