This is great for smaller amounts of things.I have a bigger family, and tend to cook bigger batches, and it doesn't quite hold things enough for me. For example, it clips onto 5.5qt pot that I most frequently use. However, 1 lb of pasta is the limit, and even then you have to be careful to catch those pieces that try to jump over the edge. Do any more than that and I have to drain it into a colander to catch the rest - which means it's not useful. The idea is great, but it needs to be taller / bigger!
