When I opened it I got a strong plastic/latex pain smell, but ignored it, figuring it was just smell from the packaging... Several long minutes later, the faux meat still smelled like a freshly painted room, but I decided to risk it since sometimes smells don't give a good idea of the taste. Sadly, this one did. Tasted exactly like it smelled, like licking a freshly painted wall. Most dreadful meat substitute I have ever eaten in 30 years plus of meat substitutes.

This is the best vegan sandwich meat alternative I’ve tried. It’s not exactly like turkey, but it does have similarities. Me and my six year old love it, and she’s picky. I saw a comment that it had no moisture, but they might’ve got a bad package because that wasn’t the case in my package. I look forward to seeing more from this company!

I'm obsessed with these. They're so good and healthy for a veggie patty! Not too spicy. The price here is the same as buying at the grocery store, but my nearest retailer is 75 miles away, so ordering through Amazon works great. I just wish I could order a case without all the extra boxes. I opened each of the 12 boxes up and dumped the patties into ziplok bags, because they take up a lot less space this way. Also the case arrived in a Styrofoam cooler with dry ice to keep it cold.

I have been a vegan for 25 years. I am a New Yorker for way longer than that.Corn Beef in New York never had pepper as an ingredient and Mrs Goldfarbs is overwhelming awash with amazing amounts of pepper and to me it tastes nothing like corn beef.
