If your boat is longer than 25-30 ft, this is not the unit for you. I had this shipped to American Samoa for our 44ft sailboat. Unbeknownst to me, the cable that connects the shunt to the monitor is only 30 ft long! To add 10-20ft more of cable would have cost the manufacturer perhaps a dollar or two. Now I have to fight the post 30 day refund process and spent hours and installation costs to discover this issue. Beware!

Love the Bluetooth, just a bit expensive for what it is.
This battery monitor works as advertised. Two tips: 1. program the unit settings from your phone after linking with blue tooth and 2. occasionally sync the unit when the battery is fully charged so the system can keep an accurate track of current in and out.
I debated on getting this but now I believe it was worth the extra money for the visibility into what my batteries are doing. The setup was simple and the bluetooth information I get from this unit is very helpful to understand, from the load on the batteries from the inverter, the length of time remaining based on current load, and the current percentage remaining in the batteries. I also appreciate the little extras that this provides like the ability to create a network which then joins with my Victron Smart charge controller so they can share information to insure I get the best performance possible. Bluetooth on iPhone, iPad, and Mac works great.

I replaced an older unit, so I only had to swap the shunt and the head unit which has the same dimension. All the existing wires could be used. I no longer have to bend down pressing buttons to check various parameters on my house battery. I just open the app and all the the data is there, with SOC being the most important one when I am at anchor!
