I figured I’d give this a try and darken my highlights slightly .. well big mistake ! 😩😡 after the second wash I noticed and so did everyone else in my house that what were once highlights have turned GREEN . I purchased the chocolate glaze which was used on my SALON highlights 😭 so upset !
This glaze did make my hair soft but I had to apply it like traditional dye. It came up in search for color depositing conditioner. It's not :). You'll need really light hair or bleach first to see any color change. Did not even try to cover gray.

My hair was medium brown at the roots and one shade lighter at the ends and it made the roots look ok but my ends completely BLACK. Don’t use on colored hair at all or anything lighter than dark brown at all.
I like the product but there a a few changes that would help. The glaze is thick and the bottle is hard to squeeze & get it out of the lip, it's too thick to flow. I colored my grey hair parts ok but not as good as a regular dye. I don't see any shine like I expected. It's ok but I think I'll stick with my regular dye.

I first used on wet hair and left in 20 min as suggested on the bottle. It did pretty much nothing. I decided to try on dry hair. I saturated my hair with the entire bottle. I have pretty long and thick hair. My hair was highlighted/balayage before and I’m pretty happy with the final result. I left it in my dry hair for an hour and it came out how I’d expected. My hair is also extremely soft. I’d definitely recommend but I’m also curious how it holds up. I gave it 4 stars because it did nothing in my wet hair.

So I decided to apply to my dry hair only on the money piece at the front of my ‘do. It was a level 9 blonde so I knew it would work well. I pinned the piece up once applied. I left it on approximately 24 hours. Knowing my hair is super healthy and the longer it stays on the better and longer lasting the outcome. It’s been 2 months and my blonde piece is still purple. This with washing twice a week. This beats most other color depositing shampoos and conditioners by a mile! Highly recommend!
