The sweetness is there and flavors are ok, but the chalky texture of the casein and whey protein blend gets stuck in your teeth and is pretty unpleasant. There is an unnatural/unusual after taste and I don’t feel great after I eat it. One ~$10 box is 7 oz and enough for about 3 bowls that would actually be satisfying. I love the idea of a low sugar cereal, as even the healthy organic brands I like have way too much sugar, but Magic Spoon is just kind of weird. Very processed flavor/experience- I will stick with oatmeal and continue the lookout for cereals that are actually made from cereal grains that have less sugar.

So I was really excited to try this cereal but the disappointment was real. The smell was great and I got overly excited about the smell so I served A LOT. That was my mistake but when I took my first spoon it was so disappointing. The texture just isn’t right, it feels super grainy while you chew, like sand almost. Not worth it.
me and my wife thought the fruity taste the best. Even tho we think it's not really for us. I will say this tho. The company themselves are second to none. The customer service doesn't get any better than they have. They reached out to see how well we liked it and if there was anything they could do. So 10 Stars for that. Basically boils down to some will like it some will not. Like everything in the world we all like different things. I will say you have nothing to lose they stand by there 100%. It's worth a try you may love it.

As I read through the other reviews I realize how fat we are as a society. Yes the price is a bit higher for cereal but c’mon. You don’t need a full bowl of cereal. I’d assume the reason people purchase this cereal is to have some what similar to cereal that is high protein and lower carb. Well guess what? This is exactly what it is. It’s doesn’t taste like you fruit loops, or coco puffs, or Reese puffs, or Frosted Flakes. But if you are buying this because you want a resemblance of cereal that taste decent and won’t add to your carb count then this is for you. It’s DIET FOOD people.
I am really surprised at peoples negative reviews. This stuff is tasty and is actually good for you. It makes me laugh when someone says “this doesn’t taste like cookie crisp or honey nut cherios”. Well duh. Does a steak taste like chicken? Does skippy peanut butter taste like jif. No. Different foods have different flavors genius. Plus if your body and taste buds are used to the standard high sugar high sodium stuff you eat its not going to release those hormones in your brain. Try eating healthy for awhile like you keep telling yourself you will. Stop making excuses for your poor health and eating habits. This stuff has helped me immensely cut down on bad snacking and has revealed the “V” in my abs finally. Have a nice day.
