I was hoping I could find one with good edge protection that completely encircled the iPad, but also one that had a sleep cover (which is what I really liked about my old case.) This one has both. The case is really nice, very sturdy and solid. I have an iPad that I use, mainly for shopping, and playing games. My only complaint about this case, is that you can’t hold the iPad long way. The edges are very sharp and stiff, it hurts my hands. Some apps I use, Can only be used in the long position, they don’t rotate. I didn’t consider that fact when I purchased this. I like that the case is magnetic and closes well. The power off button is also hard to push
