If you’re expecting true black don’t bother. This piece is more of a dark gunmetal Gray. That aside, it really is a lovely piece. The assembly is quick & easy and once complete it is sturdy. There are prongs inside the candle holder to stabilize the candle which is greatly appreciated. We bought this to go with our Halloween decor but honestly it is so nice I think I’ll keep it for general decor purposes when having a more formal dinner

 I read several unfavorable reviews for this candelabra, but am happy to say the item I received is top notch. Easy to assemble. It took me about five minutes. Perfectly sturdy. None of the wobbling other people reported. There were no sharp metal shavings attached, or in the packaging. It looks great (I love the dark gunmetal finish), and my flameless electronic candles fit perfectly. This is going to be fantastic for Halloween. I thought it would be just sturdy enough for a temporary holiday decoration, but this candelabra is definitely suitable for year round use.
