First off the boards weren’t lined up or even so it didn’t fit just right. Second the backboard that was with it was broke and so I tried glueing then taping and so far nothing good. Finally it says that it should be able to hold around 20 lbs per shelf, and that’s not accurate- I’d say around 10 lbs max. I placed 6 books on the one shelf and it started to bend and almost snapped. Will probably be returning. Decorative but overall not worth it if you’re looking to use it as an actual shelf.
For me it's started to fall apart already and I just got it. The instructions we okay they could have labeled better. For me I kept putting stuff backwards which annoyed me mostly because they labeled the parts but not which side it needs to be facing. Personally I rather have added an extra $80 for real wood. Like real wood wouldn't fall apart so easily and that's the biggest problem for me.
Took about ten minutes to assemble. Goes really well with our other decor in our apartment. The only thing is I wish it came with a hammer for the nails for the back panel

It’s somewhat easy to assemble (more than anything it’s just hard to see where the screws are supposed to go). As a result, I realized that this isn’t made of solid or good wood. I’m bummed because now I’m unsure what to do.
Assembly was going pretty good until I had to nail the back onto the bookcase. The back piece (C) isn't large enough to cover the back of the bookcase. So the nails miss the wood. Also the nails are so soft that they bend and you can't use them. The bookcase itself seems to be pretty sturdy but I haven't put anything on it yet. Just very frustrated with the nailing!

Sadly, this product was very underwhelming. The overall quality is probably one of the worst items I have purchased from Amazon. Similar products at Target and IKEA are much better quality for lower prices. This product should not be used where small children are as it is a safety hazard and can easily tip or fall apart. It is thin, pieces cracked easy, and it gave particle board splinters.
