I'm disabled and the nature of my disability makes tasks like shaving very difficult, painful, and labor-intensive. I'm 6' and have a 34" inseam, so I have A LOT of leg to shave! It's not a quick task! I gave up on traditional shaving years ago because it took about 40 minutes, and after the painful, tedious task of showering (which takes me three days to physically recover from), shaving just destroys me! I'm left racked with pain and stiffen as though I've been in a car accident; it's just not worth it. One day, my son lent me his electric shaver to prepare for a doctor's appointment, and it did a surprisingly good job and was infinitely faster. His shaver was rather old, hadn't been taken care of as it should, so it was pretty rough, but I'd been won over on the concept of electric razors. So, I did days of research online, reading probably hundreds of reviews on dozens and dozens of various electric razors, and finally settled on this Panasonic Satinshave. What I liked most about this shaver is that it's easy to hold, charges quickly, and keeps the charge for a long time. You will not be left hanging in the middle of the job! It comes with a number of different guards, so it's very versatile, and it also has two different trimmers on either side of the foil, again giving you versatility in where you can shave. Regardless of how long or coarse your hair is, this baby can handle it! It does a pretty good job considering it's electric, not a razor. Granted, it's not as close of a shave as you get with a razor, but it looks as good. You can really only tell the difference by touch. If you're pinched for time or get razor burn from traditional razors, this is ideal. I have extraordinarily sensitive skin, and this didn't irritate my skin in the slightest! What I didn't like is that the foil is so tiny if I had to rely solely on it to shave, it'd take forever! I saved time by using the trimmer first, getting my hair nice and short before running the foil over it. I'm going to buy a new razor simply because I need more foil surface. I'll definitely be using this shaver for my panty line and for touch-ups, but for shaving my legs on the regular, this won't do. It's just too small and would take probably 45 minutes.
