Worked great with their smartbase frame to convert my son's crib to full size bed. It was easy, they seem to be of good quality. I did have to drill new holes because theirs did not line up with the crib headboard and footboard but otherwise perfect. I believe they only fit certain frames (rounded corners), just be sure you get the right ones. I've seen other reviews with that complaint.

These did not work with our headboard because there was no way to line up the holes. These have very limited flexibility with regard to where the headboard must line up with the brackets. Very disappointed.

This is a few millimetres thick metal plate with black powder coating. The instruction manual and hardware it comes with are easily to follow, use, and most importantly, laid out in a user friendly manner (bolts, allen key, and butterfly nuts come packaged in a cardboard and plastic "set" with part designations). While I feel that the plate could do with a bit of reinforcement (the headboard attached is from Home Depot and if I apply a "wiggling" force at the top, there is a noticeable amount of flex) some amount of flex is unavoidable as the headboard will act as a lever. Overall, happy that A) it works with the Amazon Basics foldable bedframe and that there are enough slots for mounting a non-brand headboard.
