I restored a Simpson 260 Series 2 meter from the early 1940's and the rotary switched were not making a good contact even after spraying them with electronic contact cleaner. I applied the contact grease on the wiper rings on all the rotary controls and now it's fully functional on all modes.
I have bought this product 4 times and the first time I have an objection with the new presentation, it indicates that it contains 8 net oz and the 12 units weigh between 6.4 and 6.7 oz including the container. That's about 20% less. I don't know if it's a lack of quality control or it's on purpose. Photos attached.

I saw a video on-line describing the problem of how to keep model train tracks "clean". It's very little to do with dirt as it is oxidation causing electricity to not flow. The product provides a block to stop oxidation and instead of having to clean track every other day, it's been weeks now and still works perfectly. Really easy to apply a VERY thin film with your finger having thoroughly cleaned the track first. Excellent product. Enough for 1,000+ years!
