4 1/2” concrete grinding disk. Solid construction with a pretty balanced feel when using. Cuts quick with usual dust cloud. Comes with two bushings for different size arbors. Only gave a quick test session, not a full project worth of time, seemed to function as expected. Seemed to show signs of wear after a short usage, which would make me wonder about longevity of cutting surface. Can’t at this point tell if binding medium used to incorporate cutting medium is soft? Or if it just appears to be wearing quickly. Will have to return at a latter point to update on this observation. For now rate at only three due to concerns over its longevity, not because it performs poorly. On that front it does appear to cut quickly and should handle any DIY task thrown at it.
This mortar grinding wheel mounts just like any slip on grinding or cut off wheel on my grinder and I personally prefer that to a screw on wheel. It has an included sizer ring to use if needed. This thing will remove a lot of mortar in a hurry and will do a lot of work for the price. It seems to hold up well without showing any noticeable wear. I recommend wearing a dust mask when using because there will be a lot of fine mortar dust in the air.
UPDATE: I’m dropping another star! I finally got a chance to really use this wheel and am not excited about it, so not excited I threw my old worn out Dewalt grinding cup on, until it was pushing the edge of no longer being safe and had to throw this wheel back on, then was truly hating life! If you don’t have anything to compare it to, and you don’t care if you leave marks behind, have to fight it the whole time, (because it’s not balanced properly and has a slight wobble), and it just doesn’t cut into the concrete like a better quality cup does, or if it’s just need it for a quick second yeah it’s fine. Buutttt if you don’t want to have to deal with any of that just go to a big box store and buy a name brand cup and be done with it…the longevity and quality work will pay for itself tenfold. I didn’t have a huge job, (about 70 linear feet on my pool where the waterline tile goes), that I needed to clean up and I wished I had something different because the wheel dragged it on longer than necessary because it is just all around just ok. it’s not horrible, but as I said if you don’t know you would think that’s how it’s supposed to be…that is until you buy a good cup and you’ll never go back. When I have to grind the concrete floors I will be investing in a higher quality name brand cup. ——— I guess I wasn’t paying attention when I ordered this…I was thinking it was a standard cup but it’s not, it attaches like a wheel. I didn’t know there was a difference in verbiage but this attaches to your grinder like any ol’ cutting wheel and doesn’t possess threads to screw onto the grinder. I have 3 different grinders that I tried putting this on. The results are below: Dewalt - DW400 (older grinder) = must use metal plate because wheel hole is too big. The shape of the metal plate and the grinding wheel are different and won’t seat properly thus you’re unable to tighten screw enough to get it snug so it doesn’t move. Boasch - GWS8-45 = Fits with ring and snugs down tightly even with a generic shroud attachment even though this grinder isn’t supposed to be used with a cup/grinding wheel. Dewalt - DWE402 (new grinder) = Fits and snugs down nice and tight. The box doesn’t have any information in/on it so I don’t know for sure what the max RPM this thing can handle. There is 80 m/s and the number 12,200 imprinted on the item so I’m assuming it can take up to 12,200 RPM but I’m not too sure. My new Dewalt spins at 11,000 RPM. You never want to exceed the RPM of an item for a grinder because the consequences could cause injury or death. I took off a star because it wont fit on any grinder because it’s not threaded.

This disk has three arbor sizes to fit a wide variety of angle grinders. I have been using it on my Crafstman C3 battery angle grinder. The diamond grit disk took off a sharp edge of concrete including the aggregate very quickly and smoothly. The finish left behind is very smooth to the fingers. It does not get real hot which is also a plus. My only concern is the amount of diamond grit is a bit sparse. Based on this, I don't know how long it will last. Great for small jobs like mine. For the price, it's a great buy.

I just used this for the first time today. Everything assembled easily. The sandpaper appears to be kinda your standard low to mid grade and should be adequite for small projects or light use. The big problem is the spindle that everything rests on is not entirely straight. It wobbles a lot when in use! If you have precision work this might be an issue for you, it was for me.
I am using this grinding wheel with a Dong Cheng angle grinder to smooth out come concrete patches in my garage. I had gone to a local home goods store and was shocked to see these grinding wheels priced at $70 each. Obviously, I did not expect as much for a $10 wheel, but it is doing everything I had needed it for. It cuts deeply into concrete, removes old finish and doesn't seem to be affected in any negative way. I am guessing this tough little disk will actually outlive the grinder I am using.
I ordered the "Double Rows" grinding wheel. It came packed in a sealed plastic package and included an adapter washer that allows it to fit my old Skil angle grinder with a 5/8" arbor. I've only briefly tried it out, to level a cracked concrete slab that was sticking up in my driveway. I have a similar grinding wheel that works well, but this SALI wheel ate through the concrete a bit quicker. As you would expect, it makes a TON of dust, so if you are grinding concrete, wear a really tight facemask or a respirator if you have one. Fantastic price on a really good grinding wheel.
