Creating an Account

To get started with Leonardo AI, simply go to the link provided in the description and create an account. Once you've created an account, you'll be taken to the Leonardo AI dashboard. While there's a lot going on on this dashboard, we'll start with the easiest AI image generation.

AI Image Generation

To generate an AI image, navigate to the left side of your screen and click on the AI image generation button. On the top left of your screen, you will have 150 coins or starting credits that you get for free when you create an account. On the right side of the screen next to the generate button, you'll see how many tokens it uses per generation. This will change as we tweak stuff or change settings.

Photo Realism

Below the AI image generation button is the photo realism option. This is used for hyper-realistic photos. If we click this on, we'll notice that Alchemy also turns on with an output resolution. While this is self-explanatory, we have depth of field and raw mode. Depth of field is how shallow or deep you would like your photo to seem. Raw mode allows you to have more control over the complexity of your prompt.

Public Images

Below photo realism is the public images option. This will automatically be locked to on if you're on a free account. All this does is whenever you generate an image, it automatically posts it to the community feed, which anyone can find on their dashboard.

Input Dimensions

Next, we have input dimensions. This is going to be the input that feeds into Alchemy, but Alchemy's output resolution is going to be much higher. Here we have advanced controls, including aspect ratio, guidance scale, and tiling.

Image to Image

Here along with our prompt, we can actually use an image to guide the AI model into whatever output we would desire. We can choose to either go by guidance scale or strength. Strength tells the AI model how strongly to rely on our image.

Prompt Generation

If we have a basic idea of what we want but need a more complex idea to actually generate with, we can click on the prompt generation tab. Here we are presented with two options: the number of prompts we'd like to generate and the basic prompt idea.

Fine-Tune Models

We can create our own model that is referenced every time we generate a prompt. We can create a multitude of models for a multitude of uses. You can see your models and everyone else's models in the fine-tuned models tab.

AI Canvas

The AI canvas is where we can really extend or expand upon our prompting. We can choose a masking tool, sketch directly on our generative, add text to our image, or upload another image to add to our generative.

Community Feed

The community feed is where we can find inspiration and learn from other creators. We can follow creators, save images, and remix directly off of images.

In conclusion, Leonardo AI is a powerful tool for generating AI images. With its easy-to-use interface and advanced controls, anyone can create stunning images. Whether you're a professional artist or just starting out, Leonardo AI has something for everyone.
